Kumala Road, Bayswater
The design brief for this kitchen renovation in Bayswater, was create an open plan living by reconfiguring the existing living room, kitchen and laundry. To achieve this, the dividing wall between living and kitchen was removed and the laundry relocated to be made part of the existing spacious powder room.
The Design Process
The success of the design process stemmed from the use of contrasting colours in the materials used to create a cohesive palette. The floor was re-done with hybrid flooring throughout, creating a seamless transition between old and new. The result was a beautifully finished functional kitchen that offered ample storage and refreshed the look and feel of the space.
